Brown Butter Orecchiette with Walnuts and Sage

cook pasta in salted water

meanwhile, chop the walnuts

mince the garlic

heat a large skillet over  high heat, melt the butter

lower the heat, cook until butter foams and starts to brown

add olive oil

add walnuts

and garlic

add spices and lemon juice

stir in sage leaves

drain the pasta, reserving 1/4 cup cooking water

toss pasta with butter sauce and a splash of cooking water
