Tomato Parmesan  Shrimp Pasta  with Arugula

dice the onion

mince the  garlic cloves

cook bucatini al dente in salted water

heat oil and butter over medium high,  place shrimp  in a single layer

season with  salt and pepper, sear 1 minute  per side

remove from skillet

add butter, cherry tomatoes, garlic and onion, cook for 2 minutes

add basil, salt and pepper, cook for  5 minutes

press down to release juices

stir in tomato paste

add puréed tomatoes,  bring to a boil

scoop up 1/2 cup cooking water, drain the bucatini

add cream and Parmesan

stir in arugula

toss with bucatini and shrimp

top with black pepper and chili flakes
